Chinese veterinary herbal medicine is continually advancing, with new indications for existing formulas being constantly uncovered. Many of these new developments are in the management of some of the most frustrating conditions in veterinary practice, including skin disease, cancer, seizures, paralysis, and renal failure.
Some of these discoveries relate to how these herbs should be integrated with drugs to maximize results; others to how different herbal formulas can be combined.
This lecture will review all of these new developments, as well as the design and indications of the formulas in general. The attendee will emerge from this review with their ability to use herbal medicines greatly enhanced against some of the toughest cases.
