The rhomboid minor is an intriguing muscle, affecting both the scapulae and the neck. Attaching on the medial border of the scapula and the C7 and T1 vertebra, it is an important shoulder retractor. In our culture of "slumped" shoulders and forward head postures, the rhomboids are chronically taut and banded. Learning how to treat this muscle is usually quite easy.
