This lecture will explore the forgotten treasures that we pass over so blithely and so blindly in our all too willing seduction by the popular, the orthodox and the mainstream. It is easy to use old favourites, and rightly so because they are effective, but there are many points that have become poor cousins - overlooked and undervalued, unappreciated and therefore largely unused.

For Example:

• Lu 2, Yun Men, Cloud Gate, is a perfect complement to SI 6, Yang Lao, Nourishing the Aged, for the old and infirm;
   
• Ren 11, Jian Li, Firming The Inner, harmonises the earth as well as Ren 12, Zhong Wan, Central Cavity;
   
• Kid 14 Si Man, Fourfold Fulness, is a wonderful complement to Ren 5, Shi Men, Stone Gate, for infertility problems from stagnant blood;
   
• Ht 5, Tong Li, Free Communication with the Inner, reconnects to an inner stability in desolation and loss.
   

In expanding our point vocabulary, we extend our working knowledge of the tools of our trade and increase our effectiveness as practitioners.
