COMS In-Depth - A new option for learning.

by John Stan | May 05, 2016

This year Eastern Currents offered a twist on the traditional Symposium format of 9 speakers, three days of multiple tracks, and one day pre-symposium. This year our COMS In-depth provided practitioners up to four days of learning with two world-renowned practitioners. After hearing all of our attendees' feedback from our previous COMS, 2016's event was tailored to meet the needs of practitioners who wanted a longer, more detailed learning experience from the exceptional teachers.

The feedback we received was exceptional, and the format proved to be a real winner. This year's speakers, Jeffrey Yuen and Suzanne Robidoux, offered practitioners valuable material each in their own unique, easy to learn style. Based on the comments we received we will continue to ofer this type of learning opportunity every other year in the future.

Eastern Currents will be retuning to its standard COMS format on March 16 to 19th, 2017, with lots of speakers, new material, exciting pre-symposiums, and a dedicated veterinarian track. Our speaker list for this event is almost complete, so be sure to stay tuned for the announcement of speakers in our Summer newsletter in July.

A review of one of our two speakers, Jeffrey Yuen was written by Kyla Drever, editor of Canada's newest TCM magazine, Medicinal Roots Magazine (MRM). This is a great new resource for practitioners, and I encourage you to subscribe to this wonderful Canadian online publication.
