We take the provision of products and supplies to practitioners seriously and want to ensure that our services are not disrupted. 

Please Note: In order to reduce the spread of Covid-19, we are currently not accepting the drop off of used needle disposal containers. 

At Eastern Currents, we are committed to fulfilling and shipping your orders as quickly as possible. However, many delays resulting from the current pandemic are out of our control, so we suggest you allow for additional time to receive your shipment. Canada Post continues to see significantly increased parcel volumes as Canadians adopt different shopping behaviours during COVID-19. Given the high volumes and the important safety measures in place throughout the network to protect Canadians and Canada Post employees, including physical distancing, Canada Post has added one day to the standard delivery dates, as of September 21, 2020. As well, the on-time guarantee remains suspended.

Do you Have an Herbal Question?

If you are a healthcare practitioner and are registered with us, we have an herbalist on staff to help you with any questions you might have about the formulas or single herbs we carry.  Our herbalist is happy to assist our customers in finding a specific TCM formula in the lines we carry, or recommend an alternative if we are out of stock of a required herbal product. You can send your questions to Please allow up to three days for a response. We are sorry, but we cannot accept herbal questions over the phone.

For legal reasons we cannot provide TCM diagnoses for practitioners or recommend formulas for patients. We also cannot recommend treatment strategies or dosages other than the manufacturer's recommendation, whether a pregnant or nursing woman can take herbs, or advise on drug/herb interactions.

Please note we cannot respond to emails from patients. If you have any questions regarding herbs or herbal formulas, we urge you to contact your healthcare provider.
