Course Overview

This is a Live Webinar event that will be held on June 7, 2023 - 3pm PDT, 6pm EDT.

 

In these interactive group sessions, participants will get a chance to discuss real cases with Moshe Heller and Stephen Cowan as well as invited guests. They are designed to generate a deeper analysis of the principles of Chinese Medicine Pediatrics and strengthen the practitioner's confidence in managing complex health problems in children.

 

Each session will target one specific subject in pediatrics. The session will start with an overview by Steven and Moshe to lay the theoretical basics of the discussion and then a review of case studies will follow.

Hyperactive Organ Syndromes affecting Attention

 

In this session, the student will gain knowledge of the clinical patterns and treatment associated with Hyperactive Organ Syndromes and how they affect cognitive attention in children.

We will have an in depth discusion on patterns such as hyperactive spleen qi vacuity and hyperactive kidney qi vacuity and the pathomechanisms of these patterns.

 

The recordings will be made available for you to review after the event!

Objectives

  • Understand hyperactive Spleen Qi Vacuity

  • Understand hyperactive Kidney Qi Vacuity

  • Understand the relationships between the five organs in hyperactive Qi deficiency syndromes

  • Understand how hyperactive organ syndromes interfere with cognitive attention

  • Understand treatment approaches to improving conditions such as Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
