Acufast tubes are compact, flexible, and pinchable providing rigidity but also allowing for a variety of new needling techniques. The reduced tube thickness means that less plastic is used and the individual pouch packs are fully recyclable.
Practitioners are able to grasp the needle handle with the tube by pinching the tube while the needle is still in the package. The time and overall procedure of loading the tube is very quick compared to other bulk packaged needles often considered a deterrent in bulk packed needles for tube users.

Calculating how many pouches of 5 tubes to order:
In general, apply the following formula to see how many pouches of 5 tubes you need to order with your needles. You can adjust with each order so that tubes are used as needed and you are not discarding unwanted tubes.
Formula:
Calculate the average number of same size needles used on one patient then divide this number into a 1000. The resulting number should be the number of tubes you should purchase for each box. Then further divide this number by 5 to determine the number of pouches.
Example: I use 20 needles ( 10 on front and 10 on the back) in general for each patient. Then: (1000/20) = 50 tubes
Now take the number of tubes you need and divide by 5
50 tubes / 5 = 10 pouches
Therefore, since each pouch of tubes contains 5 tubes you would need 10 pouches.
