Brendan Kelly presents a complex topic in clear and simple language, making it easy to follow the disease progression as well as the treatment principle changes as the disease progresses through its 4 stages. He has a scholarly bent, which makes it interesting for those of us who love the history and breadth of Classical Chinese medicine, but he's such a good teacher he gets it across in the simplest Chinese medicine terminology. Very easy to understand and apply in practice. As someone who specializes in treating infectious disease myself, I was so pleased to have Brendan's perspective on the blending of the three traditions he draws on. It's brilliant work, and I'm so grateful that I stumbled onto his class!! I will definitely be taking more of his classes, and buying his book!
