OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS & WARNING NOTICE

READ THIS ENTIRE NOTICE BEFORE USNG THIS LAMP

CAUTION: THE BULB AND LAMPSHADE WILL BECOME HOT DURING OPERATION. DO NOT TOUCH DURING OR IMMEDIATELY AFTER USE. AFTER OPERATION, ALLOW 20-30 MINUTES FOR THE LAMP TO COOL DOWN BEFORE HANDLING.

• Place LifeBrite IRED Floor Lamp in a secure and convenient location near a power outlet.

• Once the lamp is properly positioned, plug the power cord into a nearby electrical outlet. Ensure auxiliary knob located on top of the lamp head is in the ON position.

• Using the in-line switch at the lamp base, adjust the intensity by rotating the dial clockwise until the desired level is reached. Rotate dial counterclockwise to turn lamp OFF.

• The IRed Floor Lamp features a wire guard to protect and prevent accidental contact with the IRed Bulb. This guard should not be touched or removed while the lamp is in operation. Do not touch the lamp head during or immediately after operation – the lamp will remain hot for a period of time after it is turned off.

• As a general guideline, carefully adjust the distance between the lamp head and treatment area to produce a warm and comfortable feeling. (Actual placement of the lamp must be determined by user comfort. A minimum distance of 12” – 15″ is recommended to avoid burn risk.)

• The LifeBrite IRed Floor Lamp can be used with commonly available wall timers or Wi-Fi outlets.

WARNING:

1. Infrared radiation from this lamp causes surfaces to be heated. This lamp should never be placed closer than 12 inches to any person or surface. The user should feel slightly warm and comfortable after a few minutes under the light (not hot or uncomfortable).

2. This lamp should not be used on infants, children, pregnant women, incapacitated persons, or sleeping or unconscious persons without constant supervision.

3. Do not use over sensitive skin or those with conditions (such as diabetes) causing skin numbness or reduced ability to feel pain or temperature changes. These users should consult with a healthcare professional before attempting to use this lamp. Sufficient temperatures are generated that may cause burns.

4. To reduce the risk of eye injury, do not stare at exposed lamp in operation. In industrial applications where large banks of these lamps may be used, appropriate eye protection should be used when continual exposure is expected.

5. Do not use this heat source near combustible materials (litter, paper, etc.) or materials adversely affected by heat or drying.

6. Certain conditions beyond the manufacturer’s control may cause the glass bulb to crack or shatter. In order to prevent this, it is recommended to prevent water, moisture, liquids or metal objects from coming in contact with this lamp as the glass may shatter. Do NOT use this lamp in wet or moist environments, including sauna, shower, bathing, bathroom or other areas where steam or moisture may accumulate.

7. Avoid scratching, scraping or striking a hard surface with the glass bulb since this could cause minute cracks. Do not use if glass bulb is scratched, cracked or touching accessory equipment.

8. The LifeBrite IRed bulb should only be used in properly rated fixtures that are specially designed for high-temperature lamps. Must use a lamp or fixture with a lamp socket individually rated for a 250-watt or higher lamp. Using the IRed bulb in an improperly rated fixture may cause the fixture to overheat, posing a serious fire hazard.
