Course Overview
This course is part six of a 15-part series that will empower the participant to have a complete re-understanding of the cardiovascular system. Cardiovascular disease is (unnecessarily) the #1 cause of death in the USA.
Part six of this course will empower the participant with a deeper understanding of western lab tests and how to incorporate them in an acupuncture practice.
It will cover:
(1) Provide a basic understanding of functional lab values, supporting research and their impact on cardiology.
(2) Review CBC (Complete Blood Count) and advanced understanding of platelet values.
(3) Utilizing the CBC (complete blood count) to identify blood pathologies.
(4) Utilizing additional testing in a deeper level. This includes D-Dimer, Fibrinogen, Homocysteine, and hs-CRP.

15 min - 45 min
Review CBC (Complete Blood Count) and advanced understanding of platelet values. Provide skills to utilizing the CBC (complete blood count) to identify blood pathologies.
45 min - 1 hrs
Utilizing additional testing in a deeper level. This includes D-Dimer, Fibrinogen, Homocysteine, and hs-CRP.
